We work closely with area churches and cemeteries, so your family can say goodbye at your own church in Hebron, at the graveside, or wherever feels right.

Thank you for your service

Our team includes veterans and first responders, so we understand what service asks of you and your family. Veterans with a DD-214 or honorable discharge certificate and first responders receive $500 off our traditional burial and cremation packages and $300 off direct cremation. We also arrange military funeral honors and help your family apply for VA burial benefits.

Dr. Parker leads all funeral service operations, preparation oversight, and family care. He holds a Mortuary Science degree from Ivy Tech, an MBA from Valparaiso University, and a Doctorate in Education from Lewis University.

When a death occurs

Very little has to be decided right away, and nothing has to be decided alone.

  • At home under hospice care: call the hospice nurse first. They will make the pronouncement and notify us.

  • Unexpected or unattended: call 911. The county coroner may need to be involved before your loved one can be moved.

  • In a hospital, nursing home, or care facility: the staff will handle the pronouncement and call us once your family gives them our name.

Then call us at (219) 987-2323, any hour of the day or night, and we will take it from there.
