Parker & Burns Funeral Home & Cremation Services is family owned and operated, just south of Hebron in DeMotte. Services do not have to be held in DeMotte. We work closely with area churches and cemeteries, so your family can say goodbye at your own church in Hebron, at the graveside, or wherever feels right. We are proud members of the Hebron Chamber of Commerce, the DeMotte Chamber of Commerce, and the Indiana Funeral Directors Association.

Dr. Parker leads all funeral service operations, preparation oversight, and family care. He holds a Mortuary Science degree from Ivy Tech, an MBA from Valparaiso University, and a Doctorate in Education from Lewis University.
Sebastian Burns

CANA‑Certified Cremation Specialist
A graduate of Worsham College of Mortuary Science, Mr. Burns guides families through arrangements and oversees every cremation personally as a CANA‑certified cremation specialist and crematory operator.

Is there a funeral home in Hebron, Indiana?
Hebron does not have its own funeral home. Parker & Burns Funeral Home in DeMotte, just south of Hebron, serves Hebron families with funerals, cremation, veterans services, and pre-planning.
Can we hold the funeral service in Hebron?
Yes. A service can be held at your church, at a hall, or at the graveside. We handle the arrangements and coordinate with your clergy and the cemetery.
Who do we call when a death occurs?
Call Parker & Burns at (219) 987-2323. Our phone is answered 24 hours a day. If your loved one was under hospice care, call the hospice nurse first, and they will notify us. If the death was unexpected, call 911 first.
Do you offer cremation?
Yes. Families can choose cremation with a full funeral service, cremation followed by a memorial gathering, or direct cremation with no service.
Do you offer a discount for veterans and first responders?
Yes. Veterans with a DD-214 or honorable discharge certificate and first responders receive $500 off our traditional burial and cremation packages and $300 off direct cremation. We also arrange military funeral honors.
